ROAD TO THE MILLION
WHERE OPPORTUNITY, PREPARATION, AND LEGACY COLLIDE
THE MUCH ANTICIPATED ROAD TO THE
MILLION HAS ARRIVED!
Last year, the Road to the Million was an idea.
A vision. A conversation. A belief that the rope
horse industry was ready for something bigger.
Now, it’s real. After a historic week in Guthrie
that paid out more than $1.1 million and
showcased some of the most talented young
horses in the industry, the momentum
surrounding Old West and the Road to the
Million has reached another level heading into
Heber City, Utah.
The horses are arriving. The contenders are
emerging. And the conversation surrounding
what’s possible in the rope horse industry is
changing in real time.
But what makes the Road to the Million
different isn’t just the money. It’s what the
money represents. Because this was never about
creating just another futurity. It was about
creating opportunity.
THE MOMENT THE INDUSTRY
CHANGES
For decades, the rope horse industry evolved at
a different pace than many other western
performance disciplines. Great horses were still
developed the same way they always had been
— through repetition, patience, horsemanship,
and time — but the opportunities surrounding
those horses remained limited by comparison.
Old West set out to change that.
