"Are you excited for the future?" he was
asked.
"Yes ma'am," Tripp replied.
"Can you say this is just the beginning for
you?"
"Yes ma'am."
Because at 11 years old, Tripp Farris is
already roping with the best. He's already
competing at events most riders spend years
working toward. And he's already building
the foundation that will carry him forward —
one run, one practice session, one
competition at a time.
The arena might be full of riders with more
experience, more wins, and more years in the
saddle. But Tripp Farris isn't intimidated. He
ropes all the time. He practices consistently.
He learns from his dad. And he shows up
ready to compete — even when he's the
youngest one there.
That approach won't change as he gets older.
It will just get stronger. And if his first
experience at Old West is any indication, the
rope horse industry will be hearing the name
Tripp Farris for a long time to come. Because
this isn't just a young kid getting his feet wet.
This is a young rider who already knows what
he wants, understands what it takes, and is
willing to put in the work to get there.
He wants to win the world. And he's just
getting started.
The arena might be full of
riders with more
experience, more wins, and
more years in the saddle.
But Tripp Farris isn't
intimidated. He ropes all
the time. He practices
consistently. He learns
from his dad. And he shows
up ready to compete —
even when he's the
youngest one there.
