BUILT TO WIN
WATCH THE LANE AND LAURA MOTE CONTINUE
A REMARKABLE RUN
Some horses win with one rider. Some horses fit
one style. And then there are horses like Watch
the Lane — the kind that seem to make
everyone around them better.
At the Old West Rope Horse Futurity in
Guthrie, the 2021 bay stallion by Goodbye Lane
and out of Earlette once again proved why he
continues to be one to watch inside the futurity
world. Ridden by Laura Mote, Watch the Lane
captured both the Pro-Am Non-Pro Heading
Championship and the Limited Pro-Am NonPro Heading Championship, earning a
combined total of $28,582 during the week.
For Laura, the approach aboard Watch the
Lane is refreshingly simple.
