IN A MATTER OF HOURS, SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY HAPPENED.
At the Old West Horse Sale in Guthrie,
Oklahoma, an embryo offering became the
center of something far greater than pedigree,
performance, or the sale ring itself. It became a
reflection of the heart behind the western
performance horse industry.
The embryo — an elite cross by Third Edge,
NCHA Horse of the Year and Hall of Fame
stallion with lifetime earnings of $342,528, and
out of Tres Chasin Babe, a BFA, Pink Buckle,
and Ruby Buckle Futurity Champion with more
than $592,000 in earnings — was offered in
honor of Oaklynn Rae Domer. What followed
was something no one could have fully planned,
but many felt called to be part of.
